Last week, House Republicans passed the financial services appropriations bill that provides funding for various agencies and programs in the 2017 fiscal year.  The budget allocates resources to programs that will help boost our economy and protect consumers and investors.  Included in this package was language based on Congressman Adam Kinzinger’s ‘No Rate Regulation of Broadband Internet Access Act’ that would prohibit the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) from regulating rates charged for broadband internet service.

To learn more about the House passed bill, please see the Committee on Appropriations press release here.
