This month, Congressman Adam Kinzinger (R-IL) enjoyed a busy day in Rockford and Rochelle before heading off to Dixon, Illinois. He spent time in Coal City, Morris, Ottawa, and his hometown of Channahon.  Later in August, the Congressman went on military leave to fulfill his duty as a Major in the Air National Guard.  Here is a look at the latter half of the Congressman’s August:

After calling in to talk with Jay LeSeure on WCMY radio, Congressman Kinzinger gave an address to NEXT Rockford at the YWCA on East State Street.

After meeting with Love Park Police Chief Lynde, the Congressman toured the Volunteer Actions Center.  This volunteer driven operation provides big number results and encapsulates what it means to be a community.

The Congressman shared the following video about his visits in Rochelle, Illinois. He spent time at the Rochelle Kitchen Table and met with the volunteers who worked there. Following that, he went to the Rochelle Train Park.  Click the link below to watch the quick video highlight from the Congressman’s day in Rochelle.

Before touring the Kohl’s Distribution Center in Ottawa, the Congressman gave brief remarks at the “Let’s Talk Banking” event with the Illinois Bankers Association at Jennifer’s Garden in Morris, IL.
