I was honored to lead the House in a moment of silence in remembrance of the brave men and women in uniform and their families and of all who have served in the armed forces and their families.
As a veteran, I care deeply about the men and women who have served and are actively serving our country both at home and abroad. I have the greatest respect for Americans who answer the call of duty and put their own lives at risk for the sake of all Americans. Congress should ensure these men and women receive the care they deserve. To do anything less would dishonor their service and sacrifice.
This page has been created to assist veterans and current military members and families with federal agencies such as the Department of Defense and the Department of Veterans Affairs. In addition, my staff and I are here to help with any questions you may have. If we can be of any assistance, please do not hesitate to contact my Ottawa office at (815) 431-9271.
