Kinzinger Named Vice Chairman of House Subcommittee

Yesterday, Chairman Greg Walden (R-OR) announced new subcommittee leadership assignments for the House Energy and Commerce Committee. In this announcement, Congressman Adam Kinzinger (IL-16) was named the new Vice Chairman of the Subcommittee on Digital Commerce and Consumer Protection (#SubDCCP).

Washington, DC – Yesterday, Chairman Greg Walden (R-OR) announced new subcommittee leadership assignments for the House Energy and Commerce Committee. In this announcement, Congressman Adam Kinzinger (IL-16) was named the new Vice Chairman of the Subcommittee on Digital Commerce and Consumer Protection (#SubDCCP).

In response, Congressman Kinzinger released the following statement:

“I’m honored to take on this role as the Vice Chairman for the Subcommittee on Digital Commerce and Consumer Protection, and I look forward to working with Chairman Bob Latta (R-OH) as we work on issues surrounding interstate and foreign commerce, such as manufactured goods and trade.

“Manufacturing is the backbone of economic growth in my district and across the country. Our subcommittee tackles the issues facing our manufacturers, our farmers, and our small businesses through technological advances, safety procedures, consumer protections and various trade issues. I’m proud to take on this new role and excited to advocate for the issues that matter to the people of IL-16, and our economy. Special thank you to Chairman Walden for appointing me, and I look forward to getting to work!”

On appointing Congressman Kinzinger to his new role as Vice Chairman, Chairman Walden released this statement:
