The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act has already made a difference, benefitting the hard working people across the 16th Congressional District and the country at large. This is a big deal, and these are the benefits of the historic tax cuts bill.
Today, following the House GOP Conference Meeting, Speaker Ryan spoke about the benefits of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act at his weekly press conference with House GOP Leadership. He started off by sharing a story about a Belvidere FCA employee who was grateful, and pleasantly surprised, to learn how much he would take home in his upcoming bonus and increase to his paycheck next month.
Congressman Kinzinger was proud to support the tax reform legislation and is pleased to see the real, tangible differences it will make for the working-class and our economy. This law will lower the tax burden and bring increased take-home pay for 90% of American workers. This is great news for American families, and a great step forward for our economy.
