Over the weekend, Congressman Adam Kinzinger (IL-16) married Sofia Boza-Holman in a ceremony officiated by his hometown pastor of The Village Church in Channahon, IL.
WASHINGTON, DC – Over the weekend, Congressman Adam Kinzinger (IL-16) married Sofia Boza-Holman in a ceremony officiated by Lead Pastor Nate Ferguson of the Village Christian Church of Channahon, Illinois. The wedding took place on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at the Convento de las Capuchinas in Antigua, Guatemala. The couple was surrounded by family and close friends as they celebrated their nuptials in the courtyard of the 18th century monastery.
In making this announcement, Congressman Kinzinger shared the news on his Twitter and Facebook, and also released the following statement:
“It’s official: I am one very lucky man to now have such an incredible woman as my wife. Sofia and I feel incredibly blessed to have the love and support of so many over this past week, and we know God was at the center of it all.
“To my constituents, neighbors, family, and friends, I want to thank you all for your well wishes and congratulations – and most importantly, your support for us during this exciting time. It’s an honor and a privilege to serve in Congress, and I’m immensely proud to share this announcement with my community.”
