WCSJ: Kinzinger Network Security Bill Signed Into LawLegislation introduced by Congressman Adam Kinzinger (IL-16) was signed into law by President Trump on March 12. The Secure and Trsuted Communications Network Act prohibits federal subsidies from being used to purchase communications equipment or services that pose national security risks. The law contains a provision that came from the bipartisan bill Kinzinger authored with Congessman Joe Doyle (D-PA) which creates more transparency to secure American networks from foreign interference. The Network Security Information Sharing Act was introduced in September of 2019.
